A south London patient and public interaction and engagement manager is determined to get even more responses to the Participant in Research Experience Survey (PRES).

The NIHR’s Participant in Research Experience Survey asks thousands of people in England who volunteered for health research to give feedback on their experience so that improvements can be made.

The NIHR CRN South London received 1,597 PRES responses against a target of 1,400 in 2021-2022.

CRN South London’s Patient and Public Interaction and Engagement Manager, Neha Modha, praised the contribution of health and care professionals in delivering the PRES. She said:

“I am thrilled that we could give so many research participants the opportunity to provide feedback about their experience of being involved in a trial. Our health and care partners played an integral role in helping us to beat last year’s target, and they will again be crucial to our efforts in 2022-2023.

“I want to give more people the opportunity to complete the PRES in 2022-2023, and I’d strongly urge south Londoners to make their voices heard by giving us feedback about their research experience via the PRES survey. Your feedback allows us to work across the system to make everyone’s experience of research even better in future.”

You can complete the PRES via CRN South London’s Google Form. Please email crnsouthlondon@nihr.ac.uk if you have any questions, comments or require an alternative way to complete this survey.
