A website designed to be a ‘one stop shop’ on working at the LCRN has been updated with new features and content.
Research Learning Resources launched earlier this year and helps equip new staff with information they need to begin their roles.
For experienced researchers, Research Learning Resources is also a great place to refresh their knowledge or learn something new. Please share the researchlearningresources.co.uk URL with colleagues.
Improvements have been made after feedback from staff and public Research Champions. The eLearning modules are now easier to navigate and include more resources, including a comprehensive research glossary.
Resources also include:
- Introduction to The Clinical Research Network: an overview of the NIHR and the CRN
- Introduction to Research: for new staff starting a career in research
- NIHR IT systems training on CPMS, LPMS, ODP, NIHR Learn and Google Hub.
The website has been developed by the South West Peninsula, Thames Valley and South Midlands, Wessex and West of England LCRNs, known collectively as a ‘supra’ network. The site has a section for content unique to each LCRN.
User feedback included: “With no experience in research, I found the information really useful and very intriguing."
“Having not worked in a CRN I wanted a clearer overview of what the various teams do and this was provided.”
