Following the successful launch of Research Learning Resources earlier this year, we’re pleased to announce that an updated and more engaging version is now available.

Following feedback from research staff and research champions, the eLearning modules are now easier to navigate and include more resources, featuring a comprehensive new research glossary.

Research Learning Resources is designed to equip new research staff working in the South Supra Network, which covers Wessex, Thames Valley and South MidlandsWest of England and South West Peninsula, with all the information they need to begin working in their roles. With more staff delivering research during the COVID-19 pandemic, this is a really important and supportive resource for the workforce.

For experienced researchers, Research Learning Resources is a great place to refresh their knowledge or learn something new.

Since the launch of the website earlier this year, we have received great feedback from users about how helpful they have found it:

“With no experience in research, I found the information really useful and very intriguing. Having not worked in a CRN I wanted a clearer overview of what the various teams do and this was provided.”

On the site you will find useful resources such as ‘Introduction to The Clinical Research Network’, which provides an overview of the NIHR and the CRN, and ‘Introduction to Research’ which has key information for new staff starting a career in research.

Research Learning Resources also includes NIHR Systems Training on CPMS, LPMS, ODP, NIHR Learn and Google Hub.

To access this range of resources, please visit researchlearningresources.co.uk and select your local Clinical Research Network.

Please share this website with members of your team who may benefit from these resources, including those who are joining to help deliver COVID-19 studies.
