The shortlist for this year’s NIHR Clinical Research Network Thames Valley and South Midlands (LCRN) staff awards has been announced.

A total 33 people and teams have been shortlisted for the Thames Valley Health Research Awards (see shortlist below).

The awards recognise the hard work and achievements of healthcare staff and teams who contributed to studies supported by the LCRN in 2019/20.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s winners will be announced on a live video call, which all staff will be able to view. This will be privately live streamed on YouTube for all staff to view (details to be circulated nearer the event).

After previously being held in Oxford, High Wycombe and Reading, the event had been planned for the Academic Centre at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, this event will now be open only to invited guests from Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, including those shortlisted and the staff who made those nominations.
