Find out about Anne's research achievements
Anne has worked in the Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) Research team since 2009 and has been instrumental in building the research activity we have today across the Trust and wider county research health and care sector.
Always up for a challenge, Anne has led so many studies and National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) initiatives, it is impossible to list all her achievements.
She has delivered research in all clinical divisions of the Trust, prisons, care homes, home care, the probation service and during the pandemic supporting colleagues in our acute hospital Trust in delivering vital COVID-19 trials.
Anne's energy and drive is unmatched. She provided input to the national and regional development of Clinical Research Practitioner roles, leading the implementation and registration of CRP posts within LPFT. In recent years she has led a pilot project on delivery of research within social care, together with ENRICH and Join Dementia Research, including the highly successful Join Dementia Research Advocates programme in Lincolnshire.
Participant experience has always been very important to Anne, and she always strives to give people a positive view of taking part in research. Her knowledge and skill of supporting research participation, together with her sense of humour, always puts people at their ease. She is an outstanding ambassador for the work of the NIHR.
This really is the end of an era! We would like to thank Anne for her dedication, commitment and hard work, but also for her friendship and support over the years. The whole teams at both LPFT and NIHR CRN East Midlands send their best wishes for a happy and healthy retirement.
